I sighed and pulled my bedroom curtains shut, reluctantly tearing my eyes away from the inky blue night sky. It was a clear night, with no clouds to steal the stars’ glory, as they glittered like diamonds caught in a ray of light. I ran a brush through my straightened blonde hair, grabbed my black and red jacket and headed downstairs, taking the steps two at a time, before skidding to a halt behind the till of the 24 hour convenience store my father owned. I stuck out my tongue and continued towards the Arrivals lounge of LAX, where the others were already waiting. A hand was held out to mine, I looked up. “Hey, I’m Rob, Rob Cavello. You must be Loz, right?” I nodded and shook his hand warmly; he then held his hand out to Renn, who cast a suspicious glance at it, before stepping backwards and shaking it limply. “The word paranoid springs to mind.” Rob grinned. Twisted Reality IIIt’d been nearly six months since Wednesday had nearly died. Ever since, it’d been a rollercoaster. The whole thing had been blown scarily out of proportion, there’d been a police investigation into it and everything. But now it seemed that everything was back on track, and we were sat in my garage, preparing for our newest adventure, a local music festival. We were all hyped, and as I watched Emma sit behind her drums, Wednesday slip on her bass and Renn and Brog throw on their guitars, I had to control the buzzing exhilaration inside me to stop myself exploding.
